Glad you guys enjoyed it. I was a little concerned this one would be a bit boring or too basic, so I'm glad people got something from it.  smile

Great news!  BGB is far and away the superior emulator.  The sound really is quite accurate.

I'll be in Northern Alabama.  My plans include some beer and Astro Boy: The Omega Factor on the Game Boy Advance.  Yeah.

The kick was one entire game boy, with each channel as one layer of it.

It sounds like it! So massive.  I'mma steal--I mean borrow--that technique...

Nice!  I shall tweet this out.

I am unreasonably excited about this show.

Maybe talking about Chrono Trigger music is cliche, but this one always got me:

The opening piano-ish bit is so sad, and the fact that it's a mournful version of the main them just adds to the gut punch for me.

Yep.  7F with FE phrases, with K command at the top.  Always and forever.

I listen over my songs a ridiculous amount

Me too.  I focus on every little detail.  It's a bit painful sometimes.  I wouldn't mind being a breezier composer...

I'm at 18 days and some odd hours on my current cart.  That actually feels a bit low, but I'm not sure what dictates how the counter works, and I don't remember how long it's been since the last wipe.

That answer is pretty terrible though, tbh.  I mean, dude asserts that LSDJ encourages drum use for the WAV channel leading to under-usage of WAV potential...

I haven't used Nanoloop since 2006, so I don't feel qualified to answer as to current versions, but in 2006, Nanoloop = easier, less patterns, less options.  LSDJ = many, many more possibilities and a vastly steeper learning curve.

[edit] just want to stress that these opinions are based on Nanoloop circa 2006   =P

you certainly are popular, aren't you

Well, I'm apparently more popular than I thought.  Or something like that.

[edit] What I mean is that my last EP took 7 months to reach 200 downloads, so when I advertised this EP earlier in the thread as free, it never in a million years occurred to me that so many people would download this release so quickly.  So despite what I said earlier, it's not free--or at least not at this moment.  I may package it up and throw up a drop box or archive.org link for it though.

I just want to say that I am humbled (and blown away) that so many people checked out my EP!

My 200 free bandcamp downloads have run out for this month, so until the 21st, the EP is $1.  (After the 21st, I get 200 more free downloads.)
