here's what i think of people who disagree with me

Speak to any jazz musician, and they spend years upon years learning how to improvise
there is no reason why a chiptuner can't spend years upon years learning how to make chiptunes either

i can invest thousands of hours in becoming ant1 without ever spending more than 15 minutes on a song too
which is why the Actual Effort Into Your Craft argument is not working for me

i have no problem with the open compilations really . they seem like they could be fun for all involved
although i can appreciate that they will be less directed and focused than other compilations and without a curator you might get BAD PEOPLE on them (but sometimes curators pick BAD PEOPLE to be on their albums too

some people make really good music in an hour and some people make really bad music in a month. so i don't think it is obvious that spending more t ime must definitely better
which is why i decided to ask

if you want a (much) easier tracker for the c64, try CYBER TRACKER
BUT if you only do easy things in your life you don't achieve as much

i feel it's better to churn out billions of songs made in 15 minutes than to polish anything. is this good practise or is this bad practise? what do YOU do? how long do you spend averagely on a song?
Anything to give me left ad right in separate ports. This way I can have two Amps and plug one with left only and one with right only and have true left and right. I know amps take 1/4 inch but I have the adapters and the gameboy will be sitting on a table and never moved so I don't have to worry about the adapters falling out easily

Track must embody elements common in chip music, such as overused samples (BREAK TITTIE AYUSS AYUSS), common chord progressions, certain song programming or instrument presets deliberately lifted from popular LSDJ tutorials, and poor song structure. Lack of musical variation, depth, or emotion earn bonus points. Unce isn't the required style, but it's, like, you know, the only type of chip music the public may know about. However, I would love to hear a bad thrash tune. Like, purposefully awful. Sound effects that hint at common stereotypes such as "Mario at a Rave" and "Tetris remix" would deserve praise as well.
Gosh I wish I could do this. lol
