oh i forgot that there is also a graphical patcher where you can connect VSTs (and buzz machines, maybe??) together in FL STUDIO now

xmplay is able to use winamp plugins as well as plugins made for xmplay. i think it's been much easier to find plugins because of this.

i prefer the default skin of fb2k to the default skin of xmplay.

fb2k is considerably nicer for playing mp3 files, but!
fb2k changes the icons of all the music files on your computer to a strange picture of an alien and it's not that simple to change them back

i think xmplay might be MORE ACCURATE on mod/xm/it/s3m and you know how important 100% total perfect not-a-single-bit-different-to-fasttracker-2 accuracy is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

foobar2000 is an mp3 player that people use to play mods, xmplay is a modplayer that people use to play mp3s when i was using foobar2000 as my main music player i still used xmplay for everything chiptunes
