I'm not sure how you will tell from download statistics which people already had players installed and which didn't!

Almost all chip formats can be played back by xmplay with enough plugins, and I'd expect the chipheads around here to already have players for a lot of formats.

Then there's no point in creating a platform for distribution of media.
Let's make a TV channel, but I don't care if people watch it
Please don't twist my words.
"I don't care if people watch it" != "I don't care if most people watch it"
There is still an in-between area of things which have limited/s pecialist appeal.

For me it's more practical, I like to be able to see more than one note at the same time, because music is all about good and "bad" combinations of notes.

Surely a minor detail. LSDJ *IS* a tracker.
and there's no need to scroll because it uses 16 step patterns.Since I am a drum machine/step sequencer person, I usually limit my tracker to use 16-step patterns too, so no scrolling. It doesn't add or take anything from my experience when composing.
LSDJ has, as said before, the simplest, most elegant and userfriendly interface for d-pad driven machines.
Maybe he meant the sideways scrolling, the being able to see more than one channel on screen at a time thing. Which of course has absolutely nothing to do with D-Pads but more to do with screen resolution (which is understandable). It put me off LGPT for a while but I've been getting used to it recently.

OH MAN DO IT!!!! That would rock my life.
I'm fairly sure (I know you hate trackers) he was thinking of mod/xm/it-->mml and you are thinking of mml-->mod/xm/it

If you lie down on a bed and close your eyes for long enough, you can lose consciousness and go into a weird altered state, and at some times you may see images and sounds which are not real (!), and which you will have only a faint memory of after a few minutes of leaving this state. It's a really safe, legal way to get high. I do it every night.

I call troll. A "Fib3r Obtik" to be precise.
If someone has the know-how to make speedcore
Hold on? Speedcore requires know-how? "Know-how" as in "I know how to turn the tempo to 500bpm in FL studio" ?
I don't see anything troll-ey about this thread, why so quick to jump to that conclusion?

She's not an idiot because she doesn't like electronic music. She's an idiot because she can't write proper English even though it's apparently her job to do so.
I don't think writing articles on that site is her job.

Hah! I guess the parents have some reason to be concerned, since the bottom of the website is selling "Hydro, Skunk, Rasta, Krypto, and Bubble Legal Bud at Dealer Cost". They should be far more concerned that their children are spending REAL MONEY (looks like up to $200 here) on detuned sine waves in an attempt to get "high", though. It's all very amusing, and I have no doubt that it does absolutely nothing.
