I think that it's obvious that the rates are going to be lower than if someone specifically commissions you to make music for them.

With this there's no limit to how much you make because if your loops are good then loads of people could download them.

If  you can get paid better money and you don't need this opportunity then fair play, but I think this is a good, risk-free opportunity for some artists to make a bit of money and get their name/music out there.

It's not about cheapening your music by taking the best section of one of your songs and looping it. It's about writing loopable music that fits a specific theme and if you put your own style and creativity into it then I don't really see how that's cheapening it.

These look pretty good. How are you removing the text? Acetone?

Thanks. Some cheap magic erasers from ebay, worked perfectly, i'm sure I read somewhere on here a post about them leaving marks but it worked fine for me.

Unfortunately the shipping cost is what it is, seems to get more expensive every time I go to the Post Office hmm

I hadn't tried it before so I wasn't sure which way to go with so tried each, I prefer the finish of the one painted on the outside but I suppose durability is more important. I'll spray one purple from the inside at the weekend to see if it still looks as good.

Backlit, internal prosound (so you don't have to deface a shell + there are a million different cables and adapters so you never really need anything else).

Download the LSDj demo and test it on an emulator. Follow one of the LSDj tutorials, just to get used to the different screens and stuff.

There have been 2 up for auction on ebay.co.uk over the last month, one went for £41 and the other for £46 so I wouldn't go spending $300 on one...

I would definitely purchase a kit. This guide makes SMD soldering look within the realms of possibility; or am I being too optimistic?

I don't think anyone really needs to be searching for dmg speakers, there must be loads of people on here with spare ones, I know I could harvest a few from dead gbs if anybody needs one.

EBay has been weird lately. Like taking a whole day to actually post my items... Check it tomorrow!

Try removing "chip" from the title/listing. Worked for me. I think "chip" flags it up so that someone has to check you're not selling anything illegal.

Make sure the game boy is on, then run a soldering iron around the ribbon cable at the bottom until you notice the columns have returned.

Get rid of the hihat that comes straight after the snare, you may think you need it but you can probably get away with not having it.
