any guitar/bass player who doesn't have one should buy this, it's hella useful.
Also, could you send me a pm with a bit more info about the bamboo tablet? I want to know what OS it can run on, as well as some shipping stuff.
In process of sending you a PM.

Topic: Need help finding a specific thread (Piggy Tracker/Milkytracker) (2 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Spent the better part of two hours last night searching through the forum and google for a thread that I swear I saw on this forum sometime in the past year, before throwing in the towel, putting on Netflix, then falling asleep.
The thread revolved around the OP figuring out how to set up the directory files in their SD card properly so that they could use the same SD card in their PSP, Mac, Raspberry Pi, etc and I think that it was either for Piggy tracker or Milkytracker.
I'm sure I missed it and I swear it's on this site somewhere... I just can't seem to find it.
Any help guys?
Closest thing I found was this, but the thread I'm talking about is its own entire thread: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/9878/ sp-config/

If you print out your own board, you might as well emulate the MBC chip as well with a CPLD.

3-year project and no knowledge of flash rom chips??? Are you sure?!

Print your own PCB and you can drop in whatever chip you want.

"Good" very much depends on personal taste. What is good to you may not be good to me, and etc.
LSDJ is about creating new instruments. "A" (Table) command, and program inside that table.

Use Table commands, mess around, and program new pulse leads.

What would be the closest chip you guys know of to make for the lease amount of rewiring?
Are you serious?
You have to pretty much re-wire all but maybe 4 or 5 pins depending on which cart pcb you use.
It seems like you want to DIY this yourself, but you don't want to put any work into it.
Grab yourself by the balls and be about that life or buy a flash cart.

This is exactly what I am trying to do, but I don't know what chips would work as a drop in chip.
You can drop in a flash chip if you custom printed your own circuit board to accept it.

*edit*
AFAIK
If there was a drop in solution, not re-wiring anything, it would be really nice.
You will either have to custom print a cartridge pcb where the traces are re-routed for your flashed chip or you will need to spaghetti your flash chip in with wires.
