Freaking awesome! They deserve it. I understand the "they are really accessible" point by xylo. But fuck xylo, xyce is just as accessible! big_smile

It is imho a combination of:
1. Making songs people want to hear;
2. The unique blending of a band with a nintendo;
3. Working your ass off.

sweet!

what happened to Portalenz? Are usk and maru still performing?

I am really glad we played a show with these guys in 2012. They are freaking amazing.

I forgot Roboctopus btw: really want to see him.

And Hip Tanaka

Guys and gals,

I've seen a shitload of chip artists live the last couple of years, including personal favorites such as Bit Shifter, Anamanaguchi, 10k, An0va etc etc etc...

BUT, there are still some artists that unfortunately are missing on my list:

1. Portalenz (or USK or Maru)
2. J. Arthur Keenes
3. Saskrotch

So, which chip artists do you guys really want to see before you die? big_smile

This is really impressive

I really enjoyed watching this. My only concern actually is: how are you going to keep up this quality every month? I assume you're not planning on only doing Nick Maynard songs right? I do not mean that in a negative way - because your last album is great - but I assume you want to mix it up, show how other musicians make music. So you have to find great musicians who are willing to make a show (without falling into the "me-in-my-room-repetitive-voice-screenshot" repertoire . Could be hard actually don't you think?

Crap. That's what I was assuming... I was secretly hoping that it would be some sort of crazy technique. Do you think you can cram more notes into one dmg if you sample chords? Or will that not work?

I think this isn't covered yet, as in: I could not find anything...

How the hell does Luke make those chords in slam dunk lifestyle at the beginning, say 30 seconds into the song? Is it a sample? Is it two DMGs? Is it an advanced technique I HAVE to learn?
