Looking forward to more articles! I actually use a similar technique to what dylanbrochill posted: a table of Exx commands and one Gxx command to get the speed right.

I thought the animation was pretty good, especially if it's your first!
Do you have anything more recent to share?

You could put ArchPPC on it, then build it to boot straight into a tracker of your choice (GoatTracker, Milkytracker, etc). Or you could actually boot into X so that you have more freedom over what programs are running.

I only suggest Arch (or Linux in general) because it's barebones and relatively easy to set up. With 450MHz, you really want to cut down on unnecessary programs.

EDIT: I see that The Silph Scope also suggested Linux. Not sure how I missed that before.

ant1 I can never understand a word you say with that duck bill.

Technically, the streaming option is a download option. It's not so difficult to save any sort of media once it's fully streamed.

I also feel that not having the download button would be against the spirit of CM. This is a place for artists to listen to each others' music, and to discuss what interests us (and sometimes what doesn't). This isn't iTunes, or TuneCore, or SongStall, or any other service.

Upload a teaser instead of a full track. Or better yet, post a link to a BandCamp page with your album (or something similar) in the 'Releases' section.

None of the licenses that are available for use when submitting new music are contradictory with a free download, except for the final option of "All Rights Reserved". And, honestly, this is the worst license you could choose.

That being said, I don't see why it couldn't be an option. It seems retarded to disable it willingly, but whatever.

By 'Kitsch Bent Cart', you don't happen to mean the EMS64, do you?
Because, if you do, there's always EMS-Flasher.

Edit: Herp derp. I'm too tired to be giving advice, ignore me.

I'd suggest you read up on the composition and structure of jazz music in general.

wat

This is a nice rhythm track.
Luke added way too much low end throughout for me, though. Sounds a bit muddied.
I prefer Bit's melodies over this any day tongue

It might be better to use an operating system with a real time kernel. Perhaps using Ubuntu & Ardour would be a good solution for keeping latency very low.

Lol, low latency with Ardour.

But seriously, if you want realtime effects and EQing with low latency, you want JACK under Linux.
There are several applications for effects, etc, but here is a nice list:
- JACK Audio Connection Kit
- Patchage
- Rakarrack
- JACK Mixer
- JACK EQ
- JOST Ladspa/DSSI/Linux VSTi
- SooperLooper

You don't need all of these, and it isn't an extensive list, but it's a start.
If you choose to use JOST, I would run a search for LADSPA plugins, as well.

There are also Linux distributions with these (or similar) applications ready-to-go, such as Dreamstudio, Dynebolic, Ubuntu Studio, or Puredyne.

Or, you could buy a mixer.

EDIT: If you need to use multiple inputs/outputs, open a terminal and read up on alsa_in & alsa_out.

Don't feel bad; I'm alone in southern Alabama, too.

<---- There's a 60x60x4 color.

Not going to MAG though, too broke :'(
You guys have fun without me.
