First, save the prefs from pt-prefs. The offsests will all be 0. Now go to [systemHD]\Prefs\Env-Archive\ and edit the offsets in a text editor to the correct ones for your target PT version. Now load up pt-prefs again and you will be able to rip/inject graphics into protracker!

Don't get too excited tho. You can 'only' change what is seen when the program loads up. All the sub-menus and vu-meters stay the way they are.

How about 'work mode' actually being the ability to load any picture as the background? Then everyone can have it the way they want, be it work-safe or even more explicit.
For example, if there is a certain file in the program dir, it will load the picture as background. Otherwise, the default pornotracker bg is displayed.

It seems that the program will not save/load/use offsets that are necessary for operation. I tried typing them in and then clicking USE, but when I open the settings again, they are reset to 0. Same if I SAVE and then try to LOAD. Crappy.

Perhaps it works on a4000/040. We should be able to test it in WinUAE.

edit: Tried with 68040 and it does not work. I have no idea if a4000 uses a different kickstart or something that might make a difference.

I agree there's room for improvement. Personally I'd prefer to use color to separate empty track data from notes or commands. Still I'd add column numbers in the sequence editor first.
