Happy to report this works on Win 7 Pro (32 bit) running on Parallels Desktop on OS Mavericks smile

sad TDK and XYCE finally meet. Happy days.

I'm performing my chiptune violin set under the handle TDK at the Free to Play closing party tomorrow night in Antwerp, Belgium.

This is how I do it. Who says violins are for orchestras and folk bands!

And check out the size of that projector!! smile

love it.

Tried the stream this morning in the UK, wasn't working which was disappointing, so looking forward to YT uploads.

Mark, we'll be playing as well!!! See you there!

Yay!!! big_smile

I don't think it is being streamed, but I will ask.

Mmmm, the USA... Well obviously I'd love to, I guess it's all about finding the right show or show(s) which would cover the costs. I simply don't have the finances to fund a trip like that sadly sad

Thanks mate, at least if I break a leg I can still play the violin big_smile

I'm EXTREMELY happy to announce that the next TDK gig is at the Revision Easter Demoparty in Saarbrücken, Germany, over the Easter holiday. I'll be on playing on the Saturday evening! This will be my first demoparty since 1993, lol!

Why would I have to ignore that? Im just saying that a chiptune off a paula dac versus one off a consumer dac has a different sound. Perhaps we should go back in time and just tell those demosceners to call it WAVETABLE SYNTHESIS instead.

Ha - that's not far from the truth is it. The technique 4Mat pioneered is exactly that, so the Amiga is a Waldorf big_smile

Wavetable Synthesis Composer doesn't quite have the same ring to it though...

Coincidentally, that is how "chiptune" sounds are traditionally made.

That's the irony of it all big_smile

Not at all. C64's are 3 channels, Amiga's are 4 channels - same with the Nintendo's. It's the difference between using original hardware, and emulating it (or adding to it).

uuuuh srry but no each channel is 1 bits meaning 8 channels for 8 bits......... : /

So you're saying that music created on a C64 is 3 bit, Amiga is 4bit????
