Re: What is your music DOING for you? (37 replies, posted in General Discussion)
'07-'09 i was writing just as a way to express myself and have fun.
'10-now i started getting more experimental and put less emotion into my work. which isn't really what I want so I've kind of rethought my philosophy on music and am starting to take a turn in a new direction.
I've been kind of sick of writing with computers for the past 6 months or so. Still don't really know for sure what I want to do with my music.

That moment when you shorten your drum samples to make the filesize a little bit smaller.
That moment when you realize you need more arps.

Audio Overload allows you to mute channels. I don't know about other NSF players.

I'm all for 8-Bit-Rex taking over. He was a close second in my mind. Good to see you guys continuing this.
Also, changed the title a bit so people don't get confused by two threads. I'll add a link to the new thread once it's made.

Guys, I think after this competition I'm gonna call it quits. Any of you are allowed to keep things running if you want. I wish you all the best of luck if you do decide to continue the BWC! I'm just getting kind of busy and need to focus on other things first.
It's not you, it's me.
Also, personally I think Jredd would be the best for keeping the BWC rolling. That dude's full of great ideas and definitely has a fine vision for this thing. I'd be happy to see it in your hands, man!

the only reason I didn't make this competition weekly was because I don't always have time on my hands to set things up. hopefully both of the competitions grow. Sorry about the intimidation thing, i was super stressed yesterday. Pretty much a system overload in my brain. @_@

I can see about talking to the guy who runs solidcomposer. I'll try and get in contact with him ASAP about adding true anonymity.

o_o for real? this is basically the same as the BWC except it's weekly. not too happy right now. sorry, but this intimidates me a little.

Re: Furious Advance Tracker (GBA-Tracker) (61 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
my only complaint thus far is that when changing numeric values like tempo or whatever it tends to be overly sensitive. I have to go back and forth often missing the exact value that I actually want. Maybe slow it down a little?
It does seem kind of sensitive. I had trouble placing notes because it'd scroll down too fast. Also deleting notes is a little weird. And I almost have to hold start for it to start playing.
I'm sure these things will be calibrated better as development continues. Speaking of which, who is developing this? It's good to see other GBA trackers emerging since M4G seems... dead.
