I'm not sick of generic chip music, I'm sick of generic chips being used to make generic chipmusic.

I dunno, genres aside I find it difficult to listen to submission after submission done on a Gameboy or NES, the soundchips really aren't that versatile.   Plus the 'mario at a rave' accusations we normally get lumbered with are a bit hard to shake when the basic timbre of a lot of the music is from the same hardware.

hmm...  surely some small pc board would fit in a broken c64 case anyway?

to be fair, for most people it's probably like having some guy's mobile phone ringing for 10 minutes and not being answered.  now, who doesn't get a teeny bit annoyed when a beeping phone goes off on the train or a park or something?  but kudos to CDK none the less.

yeah I think out of about 400 pressed CDs I've only had about 10 with the track titles on.  (some of the Columbia masters series for example)

Just popped Decades into Audiograbber and it appears to be logged in Freedb, and in Mp3tag the cover art appears on amazon.com and discogs , but neither show the track titles. smile

Yeah sorry about the metadata guys.  Amazon do all the duplication themselves so apart from uploading the assets I don't have any control over that area.

In the meantime, the secret track is revealed.  Enjoy. smile

there are hundreds of those on amazon, as an example

Well songtable/patterns/notes certainly would be, you just need the file format and do some parsing in your code.  Getting all the instruments and fx perfect is another matter entirely.

ant1 has best cover this year, and it's only july.
