This is going to be fuckin' nuts.

Anyone who wants to get the party started a bit early should come down here tomorrow around noon. Some gaming and shit going on, and I'll be doing a chip set.

Listening to this right now. I'm really diggin' it. Will buy when I have some extra cash.

Not everyone is mega into the scene and knows the lingo. Who gives a fuck if it's called a record company or a net label? Isn't it about the music?

This release is awesome. Obviously there should be a direct link, but are people really that lazy that they'll pass on a good release simply because they have to do the five seconds of work required to copy and paste a link?

This is some really intense stuff, dude. Good job.

I was looking forward to coming out to this and maybe even playing, but I forgot the date and ended up getting booked for something really, really cool that weekend in Vegas.

Maybe I'll stop sucking by the time BBB3 rolls around!

I'm down to submit a song. Haven't done any Famitracker stuff in a long time and it's a good excuse to start again.

Really hoping for an LA date.

Kunaki is a great service. The only thing I don't like about labels using it is that the order page gets a little cluttered. I mean, look at the HHH Kunaki page for example. It's pretty busy, and there is no order button on each individual page. I've actually heard a few people say they passed on buying my CD because they didn't feel like fucking with Kunaki.

A label a friend of mine runs bypasses this problem by ordering the CDs from Kunaki himself and then selling them through his website. If you order from Kunaki in shippments of 10 it's only a dollar per CD plus shipping.

Did people really expect this show to happen? I mean, really? Here comes this random guy, who doesn't really appear to have any real credentials and (as far as I know) has no association with any chip musicians or chip music as a whole, and basically says "I'm going to set up a killer show at a huge venue with a line up that is almost the same scale as Blip Fest". Nobody else thought this sounded like a bullshit day dream fantasy from day one?

No, probably not.

Because LA sucks. But yeah we should put together some sort of west coast event someday. Maybe SF would be a nicer place, just a thought.

SF is at least a decent midway point on the West Coast. Probably better venues with more potential turnout than down here as well. I like this idea...

Blip NYC...Blip Europe...Blip Tokyo...maybe someday Blip Fest Los Angeles?

No, probably not.

Really sweet line up though. Hope to see / hear some quality recordings from this.

I personally hate Myspace but I keep my page around because people still listen to my music there. I'm all about trying to promote my stuff wherever I can, even if I don't particularly like the site that much (hence why I'm still using Myspace and 8bc). So letting your hate of Facebook influence your decision to not promote your music there is silly. My view, the more people I reach out to, the more potential people I have coming out to shows and having a good time.
