Amen. Spot on.

I think that was sarcasm

My first DJ mixer was (and still is) an oldskool 6-input (2 mics, 4 aux) Realistic desk. Those things are bullet-proof! Several drinks have been spilled on that thing, and she's still going strong heart

Not trying to offend, but filtering a classic movie and putting music over it is not "a video".

Snipping clips from other sources is as much of a video as sampling a film's audio is a song.

So good! Personally, I can't find anything to criticise heavily. You sound like you come from a musical background of some kind, which really shines through in the composition value. The progression of the song is great too; I love how adventurous it is!

One thing I'd love to hear is some cheesy overdriven FM faux-guitar sounds in there. That would really complete it.
Don't be afraid to make things sound not-chip. One of the cool things about the Sega MegaDrive's sound is how authentic and natural it tries to sound - not blippy-bloppy, but not exactly real either.

Keep it up, you've got some real talent behind ya! big_smile

How about we all just have fun and write tunes or something. Fuck.

I always wanted to see someone to visuals with N64, busted glitchy polygons look super fun!

Same! I reckon some really cool shit could be done with the N64's advanced-for-chip-scene-standards visual processing.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly sure it's all just wavetable synthesis, and most carts had the ability to import custom wavetables (hence the contrast between the cheesy quirky Super Mario World soundtrack and the Tetrisphere's acid-techno reminiscent soundtrack)

If you wouldn't call someone on the street something because you know it's offensive to the general public, then don't say it here.

If you've got the common decency to not use words like homo, nigger and chink in derogatory contexts, then don't go around saying them.

It makes people look bad and stuff.

It's kinda hard to do-it-yourself without notes or instructions, though!

it doesnt look like a lot of work goes into the blog to me. im not trying to be a dick or anything or slag that its for the artists, but then again, one could argue that if a lot of work were going into it that maybe there wouldnt be full releases from artists who are charging for their work there.

Dude, the blog is hard to run. HEAPS of the guys time goes into posting.

Sometimes, time =/= quality.
My English teachers keep telling the class this. You can spend half the exam time writing fifty pages of essays, but you mightn't actually answer the question and you could get shitty marks, in comparo to a kid that spent thirty minutes and wrote three pages and scored full-marks.

If somebody tells you that the content could be better, saying that you spent a long time on it really isn't a valid justification. Perhaps take the criticism on board and spend more time and effort on the content.

Also, it's kinda cool that CRTified Technician is on there! I've been following Dtrx's works for a while and he definitely needs more attention, haha.

Am I the only one laughing my ass off at the Wham cover and not stopping?

Really feeling the music, love what you're doing!
