Orange pocket looks awesome!

I'll have to try this with some field recordings I've been doing.  Piggy heaven!

I posed pretty much the same question two years ago.

Anyways, now that graduation is only a few weeks off, I've got a better idea of what I'd like to do.  I plan to major in electrical engineering and minor in music.  I think it's going to be really great and hopefully I'll be able to work as an electrical engineer within the field of music technology someday!

Interested in the TR-505.  Would you trade for anything here?

If I'm at modathon, I'll buy at least 4!  I've got more modding supplies than gameboys...

Awesome!

Would love to do a sound comparison against a "real" TIA...

I might grab a flashback and try that out! smile

I've always had reliability issues with my 2600's.  Too many capacitors to change!  I'd like to see some of the new fabbed PCB designs come to fruition.  There was a pic of one posted on atariage that was never posted of again, and thelonghorn engineer was working on one called project unity.  Maybe the flashback (which uses a recreated TIA as part of a larger SMT chip, AFAIK) is now the best option?

Nope!  At least not usually.  It's generally some form of emulation of the sound chip that misses finer details.  Things like samples, etc.

Should it be all ages, count me in!

Insane!  Buying an 82 just for this also!

Echoing the sentiments of many other, longevity really does work.  Even if you aren't working especially hard, your tracks will get better as your taste, ability, and knowledge all develop. smile

STj for the Genesis maaaan, make it happen
