Thanks for the tip, Shiru, I was wondering why the playback went wrong!
And maybe a feature suggestion depending on how much focus you want on the Mega Drive aspect of TFM: Global scaling of output TLs (or volume) to ease distortion problems.

I just had another idea: Dynamic TL scaling per track as an effect command - Would make mixing a bliss!

If you're worried, put a heat sink on it.

Is it possible to search for multiple tags? I also thought it would be nice if custom RSS feeds could be assembled on the fly based on lists of tags. All for the sake of organisation, sub communities, interest relevance etc. Just so this'll never make the 8bitcollective -> masturb8bitcollective transition when we reach the point of 50 uploads a day.

Yeah!!!

Yeah, but for a good tonal range it's the best in my opinion. I double that for drum samples and one-shots!

I use "sox in.wav -r 8363 -b 8 -u out.raw" for protracker.

I run a 3c589 (with an 8 mb RAM expansion). Try Aweb with the RAM expansion.

mega bumpppp

Added a bunch of "citation needed" to unsourced statements. I'd say we need to work those through either by finding reliable sources or by removing them. There are some statements that I find dubious or obviously untrue, but i left them in and tagged them for discussion. POV language in a few parts, too.

I also removed the "representative artists" section or whatever it was called since it didn't seem representative to me at all, there were no sources cited to back that claim up, and because it was basically just a list of artists like the one that was removed from the old article after some discussion. I doubt any of us will ever be able to make an unbiased, concise and relevant list of representative artists, even if we combined our efforts. Also name dropping lists are booooring and don't really belong on wikipedia.

Well it doesn't matter who does it, as long as all information is based on and verified by various reliable sources, which I don't think is the case right now (although it is a lot better than the previous chiptune article, IMO).
