If a kit means cheaper price then I would be more enticed to buy a kit.

Re: Physical Release vs. Digital Release (41 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I don't mind purchasing physical releases however they have to be limited edition to tempt me otherwise I prefer digital download especially since download is generally a lot more cheaper compared to buying something physical and paying postage rates.
With the chip scene I like how artists including .sav files and sometimes tips with their digital releases, lets you explore their techniques, at times it makes you appreciate the music more knowing that you have seen the music in it's raw form of how it was designed.
tl;dr
Digital is nice.

Topic: LSDJ song transfer via link cable idea UPDATE (21 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
Hey Chiptuners and developers etc...
Recently I have been thinking about an idea which I think would be pretty sweet to have on LSDJ.
An example of this feature is that it works like the pokemon cart games, when you trade Pokemon via link cable. I think it would be pretty cool if you could do that with LSDJ carts instead but for sharing/transferring songs from one cart to another.
For example if you were at a gig or some chip based event someone may be interested in remixing one of your tracks then it can be sent there on the spot.
Or
Perhaps when you're trying to sort out songs on your LSDJ carts and you want one cart to hold a particular song rather than the other for mixing/set purposes this will allow you to do so without the use of a computer or laptop.
I understand that you can do all of this through using a computer and extracting the .sav/.lsdsng file however I think this would be a nice feature. I guess this is more of a luxury than a necessity. I have no idea about programming and so maybe it's better if this feature doesn't exist for the sake of saving space for ROM development and time etc...
What's your thoughts about this?
Edit:
Johan is planning to add this as the next feature for LSDJ.
