HAhaha. Yeah fuck those million dollar bands that tour the world and do cocaine off the tits of young Japanese sex slaves. Chiptune is too mainstream man. Something about a foot on a coffin.

well when i say popular i mean artists who get over 5 likes on facebook updates and release threads that get on to a second page.

With the rise of people self releasing stuff rather than using netlabels these days, I've been trying to group similar chipmusic releases at http://www.kittenrock.co.uk/ with a small review. Anything that falls under noisey, fonky, acid, techno, braindance, electro really.

None of that popular chipmusic stuff basically.

Updates have been slow as we're in the process of making a new site at the moment.

that would be pretty sweet, that's kinda how i'm making 3 x SID stuff at the moment. you make 2 separate files and play them together. its a slow process but the results sound great.

Time to cash in, guys.

I'm on bandcamp right now adding Anamanaguchi as a tag on all my releases.

I think I made the Anamanaguchi thing up. They just seem really popular and I am keen to jump on the bandwagon.

Hello

Joss Manley has released lots of nice new music on his bandcamp.

http://jossmanley.bandcamp.com

thehorrorsofwatchingachrisrockmovie is the newest C64 minimal squech techno.

I think that this was made specifically for people who like Anamanaguchi.

he might still be around, or is maybe using another sig, but i havent seen him for a while. i still jam out to his old 8bc tunes almost every day in my running mix. so good and funky.

he is well and he makes me laugh.

I'm fairly certain that 70-80% of the people I grew up with learning the guitar or studying music at college/uni no longer make music.

Shit happens, people discover new hobbies, realise that they need to put a lot more effort in to get better, give up everything for a wo/man/family.

I think I'd be very miserable if I couldnt make music anymore, my Dad certainly managed to balance being a musician with a good father with a horrible job.

i have jizz in my beard.
