I don't know any chiptune artists in my state. If there is a scene here, I haven't found it. North Carolina kinda sucks. Solo-ing it over here...

why do they need to be chiptune artists ?

if there is anyone making electronic music in your area contact them!

if you make game boy techno or trance or whatever contact promoters who put these kind of acts/DJs on!

if you make rock/metal game boy music contact your local rock/metal promoter!

if you make pokemon/mario music then i dont know!

Well, consider that Little GamePark Tracker was initially developed for the GamePark handhelds.  It runs buttery smooth on all platforms.  wink

I wouldnt recommended it on the GP32! Very unstable, I dont think its even available for it anymore smile

I think that's going a bit far, I've been very satisfied with mine but I guess it depends what your expectations are really.

The Uplay is really just a SID playback device.

a lot of nice ones are combined with the bass instrument or other sounds but that isnt what i necessarily want to do. as with everything on the sid it takes a little fiddling smile

I have a Hardsid Uplay, the only thing I have to compare it to is emulation though smile

It seems a little glitchy running directly from Goattracker, the volume is much more quiet than when playing back SID files or using Vice and I've had some weird tempo gitches where songs play fine using goattracker/hardsid but then freakout changing tempos when I've exported to SID. I've had a few songs where it drops notes as well.

Not knowing much about the SID, for all I know these could be because of a combination of weird grooves, ADSR settings and emulation.

I've started making 2 x SID and 3 x SID songs so it doesnt get much use any more, but other than the occasional glitches I've been happy and it sounds great.

is nice but i still think the drum programming is more interesting in kraettz's drumnbassy stuff its a bit more drukqs afxy than remarc jungle.

mid/downtempo dub that I'm pretty sure is 2xLSDJ, if someone could confirm that for me.

edit:cause if it's not, kraettz is a legitimate wizard.

Seriously?  OK, that was horrible.  And definitely nothing I heard that couldn't be easily done w/ 1xLSDj.

is this some new trick in LSDJ that you have found? I cannot get samples to play at the same time as wav synth stuff :(

I really hope the bass one can do something other than acid bullshit

its a synth. the only limit is your imagination!

searching for 8 BIT DUBSTEP on youtube is nearly as good as searching for gundam style 8bit or carly rae jepsen 8bit

the monotribe syncs with 5volt pulses so It's probably doable with just an audio recording and a mixer. a little time to deconstruct the wave form and I'm pretty confident you could just generate a sync signal in time with whatever you were doing.

pretty sure chipocrite just has one of the pulse channels in lsdj play a 50% square wave and sends that to the sync in of his monotribe.

i use the noise channel, tried with the pulse but it wasnt as solid. would prefer to lose a pulse channel over the noise.
