Abstract minimal glitch spat out by an amiga.

is this Jellicas brother / Josstintimberlake?

Any info as to how the tracks were created? Guessing its generative / procedurally generated, maybe using that crazy Amiga markup language which i forget the name of?

yes, it is my brother. probably octamed. this may be improvised?

its about as necessary as modding your game boy.

give goattracker or sidwizard a go in their 2sid versions and see how you like it.

i really like having the 2 filters, but generally dont take too much advantage beyond that - the second sid is usually just used for making chords.

all of my music is sad ):

Fresh release! Chip style reggae with wobbley robot vocals. I’m hoping that someone spent ages programming text to speech phonetically in a Jamaican accent. It’s cute, funky and full of sing along moments like a vocal hook from that song what was sampled in that Prodigy track.

Download at http://www.kittenrock.co.uk/ along with 74 other chip releases

also i had a quick search on csdb, but you'd probably need to code something yourself take advantage.

id imagine that a c64 would be cheaper.

personally id pick a tracker over mssiah as well, unless u really like the midi and interface.

or the 3xosc thing in FL can easily produce chip style sounds

there is a massive list of 8bit vsts here

what are you wanting to sync the sample to?

i use midi from other bits of hardware, but with the volcas only having midi in its a bit annoying, its not a nice master.

I'm sitting on a 3-track, 1.5 hour 0F.digital album because people said my 10-minute tracks were too repetitive; in a way I'd love to subject people to the new 30 minute tracks.. but ehhh

id totally listen to this and enjoyed the other stuff so much i posted about it http://www.kittenrock.co.uk/?p=981

oh and for anyone moaning about lack of diversity or unce or whatever, i'm still doing kittenrock http://www.kittenrock.co.uk/ and aggregating interesting (to me - ie no cheesy trance/edm, but i do like techno) chip releases that i find on bandcamp & making podcasts of individual tracks i find

but on a less trolly note i get esc's point. i seem to hear fewer artists trying to carve there own musical identities or whatever  these days but im just old and shit and if people are enjoying themselves then it doesnt really matter and i still find lots of good things to listen to and go to some nice gigs sometimes.

weird doublepost but isnt my avatar hypnotic all in a line?
