hard panning is having something entirely or almost entirely panned to one side
gameboys do not output a true mono center, since everything is either entirely L, entirely R, or both at the same time.
and "both at the same time" isn't the same as mono for a number of complicated reasons which, admittedly, i don't really understand all that well.

Baccano had a fantastic dub, it's the only time where I've chose it over the original, mostly because brooklyn accents.
just finished baccano in english tonight. solid dub!
trying to get through shinkon gattai godannar now. it's equal parts hilarious, embarrassing and awe-inspiring to watch.

one time a youtube dude used a crap thing i did and then people started commenting "dunkey roll" on my videos and then i deleted those comments and that is my story of being moderately internet-successful for a little more than 24 hours :v
oh, i'm super proud of my music (at the moment, hah), but if you're asking me to send it to you personally when it's already a free download i think HMMM this guy is up to something!

why are some people hating on this thread, man you ain't the thread police. but if you are then show me your badge i will make a video of you and it will be all up on the internet in a jiffy.
yesterday this guy who is a moderately successful/up 'n' coming EDM producer messaged me on facebook and asked me to send him one of my EPs even though they're all free to download, so that was weird. i didn't end up sending it, i'm such a miser!
OH and i renewed my soundcloud pro today whoopee, life is so INTERESTING.

Re: Alex Lane - Square Eyes (10 replies, posted in Releases)
4x4 dance music gets emotionally exhausting for me after awhile, but this is still cool stuff.
as someone whose chip stuff consists of almost nothing but 180+ bpm 4x4 stuff, i can definitely see where you're coming from!
"The Upstart" is a great little breather track (not to mention those sweet, sweet noise kicks)
this might also be a good time to mention that alex and i are working on a split/collab ep which you will either love or hate, depending on your ideals for chip music as a medium.
spoilers: we're doing covers :v

Then they should add more helmet shit or remove them at all, imo. Like, offer a great audiovisual thing, or none at all and just press space.
the AV experience is pretty spectacular, apparently.

crunchy goodness
would've loved more complex and technical rhythmic work, but this still has a strong glitch/IDM feel so i definitely dig it!
