Heh, a lot of the terminology they used (esp "triangle and sawtooth waves") is going to airplane right over kids' heads but yeah, that was class!

The entire soundtrack for The Neverhood is outrageously infectious!

Super Mario Land (gb) ending theme

YESSSS I love how it still encorporates the minor chord change from the impostor-daisy music and then flies off into this amazing triumphant fanfare. So good!

Younger Sibling's definitely my favourite. Very unique sound!

Try mono 1/4" adapters.

I was gonna record and upload the Death Cab cover I played at the blip open mic but it happened to be my very first casualty of SRAM corruption. Huzzah!

I'll have to find/write something else worth uploading!

Thats how most of us make our music

And that's why "most of us" don't stand out.

But, like Jellica said:

if the music you make makes you happy then you shouldn't start trying to make music that is expressly made to please a certain type of audience

clear as mud, mate
as far as i can tell, you want to recreate the intro of that one skrillex song what with the "waaa-aa-aah hurr durr" and all that, right?

yo i'll do a terrorcore version of brick
nah, but i might do a serious attempt at a cover of brick
treading carefully though cause i feel like the 8-bit sound could easily trivialize the subject matter of the lyrics if i'm not careful!

get some chip shows happening in adelaide

I'm actually risking a bit to do this but for the sake of the art I say it's worth it, but I am going to cover my ass on as much as possible.

you really don't have a lot to worry about, we're mostly all pretty cool guys i think!

iirc stores here in australia just buy a license from a performing rights organization (namely APRA) to play all commercial music in their stores instead of making a list and checking it twice and finding out who's gonna holla holla get dolla. and since nobody's required to make a list of what's played in stores, the money from said licenses is just doled out between the most popular songwriters at the time and not anyone who was played, specifically. does anyone know if ASCAP does things differently, or if i've misunderstood the way APRA goes about this?
