Oh yeah I let people know what's going on or they think I'm hiding an ipod somewhere, hah

Phrases go to FF, chains go to 7F smile

I've yet to experience real problems with either of my EMS carts, but I've come frighteningly close.

I dunno about the gimmicky retro stuff. I mean I got a silly pokemon-reference for a name and avatar and all but I don't pretend that LSDJ is novel when I play live and as far as album/stage art goes I'd like to shy away from big pixels entirely.

Bleh, I really just try to take everything in my stride. Besides, I started making music with LSDJ cause I got bored of DAWs and VSTs and ASIO and multi-sampled whatnot so I guess I uhh... Completely forgot why I started writing this!

I dunno, I think clear looks a little silly even on a clear gameboy..

White would look amaaaazing on a black or red gameboy imo. The other colours you suggested are good too!

Unfortunately if you haven't been releasing stuff commercially already then you have pretty much no case to keep the name (afaik)

I mean even if you had been, it comes down to who stands to be most inconvenienced/lose the most money, and it isn't you (again afaik tongue)

E: you could always use the name "Video Cystometrography" instead wink

Ahh, groovy. Thanks Justin!

@Kitsch: Once they're available, are there any particular advantages to installing an EL backlight as opposed to the LED variety?

Augh, you guys are fantastic! Never too much cart info coming from you, Kitsch. Gotta know your product smile

If that's a heavily used GBL you're talking about herr, PM me a price and I'll probably say "OK"!

Anybody had much experience with these?

Wikipedia says it's slightly bigger than a pocket, but I'm guessing the guts are more or less the same as a GBP except with a built in backlight; would I be right in guessing that?

I'm acquiring one soon just cause I think it's a cool thing to have, it'd be nice to use for music stuff but I've been told that pockets drain the SRAM battery from the 64M EMS carts much quicker than a DMG.

Also sorry for being a bit of an asshole itt, I have a tendency to bite back with sarcasm but no hard feelings bros smile I mentioned Ebay just as an example; there's literally millions of gameboys everywhere and where you get them really doesn't matter in the end!

One thing that (I'd imagine) some modders do that most people don't: own a shitload of units. And then there's the ebay crowd, hoarding away NES controllers in their attic as an "investment". But all in all there's still a lot to go around smile

all modding has done is to make stock gameboys harder and harder to find.

Backlights are fantastic and way better than worm lights and fat clip on lights imo.

Jump on ebay right now and you'll find that there's still heaps of stock gameboys. It's not a big deal, man!

nice troll, 3 stars

OH man that mix is freeeeshhhh. I'd be cool with doing this, haven't whipped out deckadance in a while :V

That's pretty much the case, nitro. When I've played keyboards live (mainly with churches lol) I've pretty much always done stereo as a split, running 2 mono cables into 2 DI's and then via XLR to a multicore. Actually I don't think I've ever seen a mixer with a stereo 1/4" input.
