How did you get the files on it? Do that in reverse...?

This sounds very very useful!
Now, how is it possible, I wonder, to dump a DS cart? I don't understand how to get the savefile to the PC.

I think you have to have a flash cart.
My DSTT has a .SAV file accompanying the .NDS programs.
(I have a copy of the game too but it's way more convenient to put it on the TT along w/ NitroTracker, DSOrganize, Colors, etc.)

Yep, that was quality. Actually have it queued up to play on my PSP (I'm at work) shortly smile

EDIT: You know what, you just reminded me that last time I tried to play it on the PSP it crashed Game Music Gear. lol. So I had better take it off there and listen at home some other time instead.

Just wanted to throw out there that if you're OK with a desktop, you might not need a super-old machine. Just something with PCI ports for e.g. an SB Live....and FreeDOS. http://www.freedos.org/

I have been exploring this strange underbelly of 21st century DOS since Saturday, when I got AdlibTracker 2 AND Impulse Tracker (albeit in 8 bit mode) working on my 500mHz VAIO. I also got it running on another, newer (~2001) desktop, but there's no audio because I didn't get a chance to try out the AudioPCI drivers on it yet.

Not to put words in his mouth but I think what he means is easy on the sugar, tiger.

Pardon the bump. Got my mini KP and I'm pretty happy with it. I have lots of junk already but I think it's got its own niche. Anyway, I made a video demonstrating a couple of the looper programs. I hope it will help anyone here (or elsewhere) with the same kinds of questions I had about it.

FM/AM/bluetooth transmitter?
not a lot of tweaking to be done when it's inside a box, though. some type of airtight bag would be better.

and yea yea its the same style filter as the credible MS-20, but you can just as easily build a LPF from scratch that is equally as analog and equally as warm/soothing/nurturing/loving big_smile

Oh really? How?

Was this directed at me? If so, I think you misunderstood. There's a big difference between acceptance and indifference.

There is a very distinct sound to demoscene music.

I am kinda struggling to find a very distinct sound here, can you help me? Thanks. smile

Shame they took the video capture of this down from Youtube! My fave demo/demo-tune: http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=129

I don't like the music and I could care less about its socio-cultural implications. The fact that it's probably going to get more popular than Xik or Lazerbeat will ever be makes me sad but I'm more disappointed in listeners and their pre-conditioning than I am in this band. Anyway, spreading bad vibes is kind of a waste of energy fellas.

What's the material & fit like? Is it going to look gross on a fatass like me?

And it seems like currently the Smartboy carts (if you can get a hold of them) only come with the writer. So if you buy more than one, you end up with redundant writers laying around.

Does the Smartboy USB writer work with the old EMS 32MB carts?

I am also interested.

Thanks for doing that! Honestly, it doesn't quite answer my question as I was more interested in how finely the looper can pitch up or down. But I appreciate you doing that.
I think I'm just going to buy one. It's cheap and I don't really have anything quite like it.
