The resyn2 phase mode repeats thestart of the source waveform. This can create a waveform which has samples only on the top side. Careful use of vshift can center the waveform again. Less careful use can create some nice distorsion.

If you're not too concerned about authenticity, you could use BGB's audio record function. (But make sure you upgrade to the latest version first!) Then maybe mix it with a noise track from a real DMG for some realism, hehe.

On page 1 of this thread. wink

There's another one here that's not the "limited edition". That page has a pic of the back. No slot.

I think it's just a multi console like the one ashens once reviewed. No GB emulation or capability.

Fixed. If you or anyone else finds vulnerabilities on the site in the future, please contact me or Tim (trash80) directly or send an e-mail to staff at chipmusic dot org.

For DMG style cables, you can typically do trash80's pin swap mod. GBC cables on the other hand are typically injection molded and you can't really access the pins without destroying the connector. I haven't seen the +5V pin connected in any official Nintendo cable. (Apart from the 4 player adapter as mentioned.) For what's it worth, I have seen it in some 3rd party cables. I don't remember which brand/type to look out for, but I can check later. I think I saw it in a cable that had both DMG and GBC plugs on both ends, (split cable) and the +5V pin connected only on the GBC plug. But I couldn't swear on it.

Moved to the cc subforum.

Just to be clear about what you said above, does Super Mario Land 2 work? Or do you just mean the flashing but not playing?

Would it be possible for you to open up the cartridge an take a high res, in focus picture of the PCB? Not a iPhone pic in bad light or a point-and-shoot that won't focus...

Try flashing and running this. It has a test pattern which it confirms programmatically. If it fails it will give you a  memory location. My bet is that there is a loose solder connection somewhere that contacts when you apply pressure a certain way, in which the case will fail at random locations depending on when you happen to release the pressure. But I'm ready to be surprised.

Do you have the old cfg for comparison?

Did you try upgrading to 1.5.2, released just a couple of days ago?

Haha! I'm thinking more of the lines of, if I sold the ROM bandcamp style, name your price, what should the default be.

this is great, I´m on board if not way too expensive.

Hmm, I can ask this then. How much would you pay for it? (ROM and cart respectively.)

Added specification links for developers. Especially the link cable emulation might be of interest.

RTC save format specification - Real time clock save file format, for games like Pokemon Gold/Silver.
MBC2 save format specification - Specification of the save format for the MBC2 cartridge memory controller.
BGB 1.4 link protocol - The protocol for interfacing with BGB's link cable emulation.

New version.
