bump,... just got my eyes on this unit over here:

can this model be useful for tracking? i'm a little lost with the software, and some guy sells this for 10 bucks over here.

my pulse channels are over 3X to 5X, and the hi hats on something like 3X-4X. just to give that WAV channel more space; i've noticed in my own writing a more dedicated work on this particular channel, this and other hard to explain ables you to use it with more dynamic contrasts, sublows and another wicked sounds.

then do the production outside the gameboy.

beautiful girl.

atractive voice, just get your aesthetic on the chiptune side (with more lo-fi synths and stuff) and you'll got the apreciation you need in this kind of public forums.

and of course you don't need any forums apreciations. not trying to be a douche, but you don't need "8-bit" more prominent to do your stuff, i assume; in a good way.

and the video is missleading, we just want the good stuff (music or awesomeness in just 30-40 seconds.).

thanks for sharing.

EDIT:[chiptune_jury]  just put a huge triangle WAV channel bass in the begining doing the left hand part and you're gold. [/chiptune_jury]

Dude, this is something you don't ask other people to do it for you.

if you want to make money of it you should consider getting always the cheaper prices for the materials, regarding the quality that you want to sell. if the gameboys are expensive for you, maybe is not a good deal to sell them.

Over here i pay like 4 to 10 dollars for a DMG. NOT MORE (play it loud and stuff).

Akira, in argentina  the commodore 64 and the speccy are more common,... lucky you!

you can invert the theme colors within newer versions LSDJ, (or hack the rom like nitro posted a while ago). and put a not inverted polarizing film. the kitsch backlights work really great in all lights; on direct sun i just can't see the backlight color but the screen keeps reflecting the light, not as much has the unmodified gameboy but is pretty good.

i guess there's no need on using the inverted film if you can change it in the software.

or try inverted film+inverted theme, something like "hybrid biverted" maybe work nice.

back on topic, if you press SELECT and hold then press START on song mode in the SONG screen you can trigger all the channels at the same time and do odd things, and mess up with interesting live randomness, ideal for sample manipulation in real time.

it also serves for hand-sync with another not midi capable stuff.

EDIT: in  3.9.9

that damn TSP ignore. all my tables using that command in that channel; i need to manually change all of them and that sucks, 'cause i'm missing all the new stuff.

the NOI is weird in newer versions even if i change the parameter to "come back to normal" behavior. NO UPDATE FOR ME.

50-60 us dollars for a prosound backlite DMG is pretty nice price. in the third world (in chile, with expenses of a first one like tongue) we are used to pay really hi prices for ririculously cheap things.

Don't forget the rarity of this items at some places. i've heard that in brazil the gameboys are very rare.
