please note that sound quality differs from unit to unit. Also, some very used gameboys tend to have more leaked capacitors, which affects the quality of the sound.

I think, trying to be pretty objective, that obviously not everyone feels a performance in the same manner.

Independent from the "show needs" everyone has his own "stage persona". Maybe that's how confident anyone feel, and 'cause we are all different, the result is not for everybody equal.

In a multimedia era, visual aspect is almost as important as music, to some of us. For me, is like different directors make different decisions. In musical or visual aspects. Mostly, some performers tend to recreate with their kinesthetics what their music is trying to pull.

I guess that the music have some movement on itself. Some of us like to use what we have to make that point more valid on our own way. in a visual or kinesthetic way. This thing comes more naturally and efficiently  from the sound experience on ourselves, not just by following the music phenomenological trends.

btw, i absolutely love your effort on making this proyect. I fully support it, and i'll  be sending a present also wink, maybe useful for future developments on the NES.

this is absolutely amazing!. I always prefer the command line, more direct access to the file manipulation. or people could just maybe prepare a batch file and you just need to drag the file for upload it to the machine.

are you using a cheap cellphone data cable? a buddy over here on Chile uses it, since it runs like a virtual com port, is ideal for today pc standards; he make a really nice cable for the atari 8bits called sio2vcp. works very similar to the munch.

keep up the good work! this with pulsar will be the end of the world as we know it!

@Soiled Bargains and Decktonic: I think that the called "overuse" is nothing to worry about. there are millions of different instruments. And lots of crappy music for them. And lots of gold pieces also. Is just a matter of the artist quality, nothing to do with the instrument itself.

anyways, a good artist will make good job with anything available. for me the lsdj interface is very catchy and easy to go along... but the nanoloop one is very attractive. i guess that depending on how an instrument is built, different users will be appealed to it. you can't get everyone happy with the result.

for pulsar, copying something good and make it better is really valid point. I've always thought that the nanoloop interface is more trippy, suitable for more open compositions/improvisations and it has some really interesting permutations of the patterns in real time, which is still valid for "music composing" as a formal structure; but the lsdj one is more control-freaky-alike, with everything detailed, of course the last resort on total control will be coding, like MML.

I find amusing which ones people prefer on gb synthesis. Talks about the limitations and styles they like. Anyhow, always the more popular artists get more attention, which is pretty obvious.

even if your programming is not really clever as XXXXXXX, if you make good music is all that matters.

Also, a lot of love is missing in the internet. Please go on heart.

i'll be trying the real machine stuff!

listened on mp3, sounds really interesting buddy!

'cause mister baldwin says so wink.

the feeling of composing in the same machine is really nice. On microcomputers is kind of obvious (like the atari 800 xl and the like) but making a dedicate interface with what the machine has to offer is a really great challenge, to program and to use.
