the only value of limitation is that it magnifies the brilliance needed to overcome said limitation... pragmatism ftw

you can do other time sig's in nano...but you better have yr fractional hat nearby..you gotta write a phrase over more than loop and put it together in the song editor, 5 loops in 4/4 can be used to write a phrase in 5/4-not ideal but works

lolz...
everyone here is sooo hilarious and brilliant... i would take someone being a "8lllllD" on threads here over someone being "cool" elsewhere.

per the thread: theghostservant's post represents everything i am inspired by in the underlying collaborative approach to chip, ant1 is pure dada in the best way, a very unique and necessary voice. decktonic exudes a warm intelligence and an engaged inquisitors perspective in composition.

alright you guys all have really good points. if i could make an analogy similar to my eyes being bigger than my stomach, but in relation to this, there you go.

soooo
in reality. four? hows that? like 3 - 5. haha. cuuuuz yeah idk.
i can try and set it up for the 10th? is that like a preferred date?

i second dr. maynard the smaller the bill the better: a 3 act bill is ideal, 4 is pushing it, 5 is in the epic range. no more than 20-25mins per act. time will expand exponentially at the gig, its totally apart of the rawk continuum. trust me, if you can master this style, people will always ask when the next shindig is and..... look forward to it. ninja style; in & out leave the audience asking: wtf was that? why is it over already? MOAR!

in..ta...resting.... and no noticeable changes in sync?

If you're using a DAW, you simply have to align the first beat of each track and they will be perfectly synced.

i ask only because i've done something similar using casios to layer beats going into the interface w/o midi sync. thats is record a beat then track another on top, same tempo, same beat even and they eventually diverge(even if its just slightly) and sheesh..... when dumping tracks from a tape four track its even more noticeable-which is to be expected. i just assumed you'd get the same thing when tracking from a dmg without using midi sync- time being a relative thing and tiny variations and fluctuations in power.
good to know for future reference
