dont want to burst your bubble, but they kinda suck in general.. you are much better off using one of the modern mouse adapters.. good luck!

The 1351 doesn't suck! I found it quite nice. However, you're right about the adapters, they are way more convenient and easier to get a  hold of.

u need to buffer your output though if you plan to solder wires anywhere... just running the output pin to a jack puts your sid chip at risk.

That's why you DO NOT take the audio from the pin. There's PLENTY of points to get audio from at the motherboard without the need to do a buffer or any other sort of technical malarkey. Just solder a cable to the pad.

What difference does it make if it's from a location on the motherboard or directly from the chip? None. Yes, it will work but like but the SID chip is still at risk from spikes and other malarky.

oh hey I've been on this a few times recently... really impressed by the dedication to the greyscale aesthetic, even down to the thumbs for past album covers haha!

Ha, cheers! It was tedious.

It was mentioned in the previous page, yep!

Oh god I'm a tit. Well I don't think anyone's mentioned this amazing Venetian Snares track yet, the chipmusic factor being supplied by Midines:

Mostly because this is an NES and the original poster request examples of Game Boy sync tracks.

I'm looking for a pixel art logo for my site at http://firebrandboy.org/. Looking for it to display the my artist name as FIREBRANDBOY or firebrandboy in greyscale. Open to input and direction from artists. Small fee available.

For me it was taking a break from the chipscene and chilling.

Dude, I'm on holiday. It was NYE. I have the C64 keyboard overlay, I'm not going to sell it to anyone else. Royal Mail aren't delivering until 4 Jan. Chill. I'll email you soon.

Will reply to your email shortly. Have to look it out. smile

I also have one that's "new in box".

Seriously, dudes, it says that Nestopia is the only emulator that works in the very first line of the 'readme.txt" file.

The clue's in the name.

Come on, let's try just a teeny weeny bit harder eh?

But in all seriousness, I was mostly just overly-excited.
