Um, I don't think I made a good enough case for the smoky... thru the magic of electrical engineering, those fuckers can power a speaker cabinet... LOUD. I've seen/heard one hooked up to a Marshall half-stack and the fucker was kickin. But again, mono and might totally distort... dunno!

Stuck in traffic? Throw the doors open, generously twist the volume knob clockwise and blow that little hat off Michael Stipe's butthurt head with this oh-so-groovy piggy jam from Matt Nida.

I would just like to say that all day yesterday, I reveled in a feeling of pride for the chipmusic.org community for NOT starting this thread. 8:07 PM EDT is not bad at all.

Oh I'm the first one to give a big middle finger to anything VGM related here in the chip music world, but I think this is different.
Also, if the NSF file format for a second holds back any development of NTRQ, ie "I could add this awesome feature but NSFs won't be able to handle it" then middle finger to NSF

Whats the point though?
I didn't answer this. It's an excellently small and widely accepted cross platform file format. It will play on a Rockbox enabled iPod or my Windows machine or my Wii... AND ON AN NES. This is desirable.

LSDJ doesn't dump files to a.. well, whatever Game Boy music files are and I've never heard anyone complain about it.
You're too new. It's been requested in the past.
It's dead. I'm killing it right here and now.
R.I.P NSF

But that's for older music, right?
I mean, you look at *cough* 8bc and bandcamp and it's all MP3?
8bc allows nsf uploads. I wish there was an option to search by file format cuz I know there are many posted there.
http://famicompo-mini.com/ <--- that's all new nsfs up in there. Over 100 nsfs were entered in the most recent compo that happened this past winter.
http://2a03.free.fr/?p=pub&type=nsf <-- and the kids keep uploading stuffs there!
Need more?
