I released my second Game Boy album "Every Step Of The Way" a little while back and thought I'd share it with you guys! Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear some feedback on it! It's available as a Free / Name Your Price on bandcamp and soon to be available as a physical CD.

I emailed little-scale a month or so ago and still haven't heard back about my GenMDM order. Has anyone gotten a hold of him recently or heard anything about any updates?

In celebration of my album's 1 year anniversary I've made music videos for all 13 songs and added them to the first post!

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm trying to get Ableton/Reaper to send midi to my Arduinoboy and get LSDJ to start on command. I can't seem to figure it out, i've tried every mode on my arduinoboy and so far no luck. What mode should my arduinoboy and LSDJ be in? Also what midi channel should I send on and what midi notes do I need to send to start and stop LSDJ? I'm essentially trying to get my Game Boy to play along with tracks in ableton and reaper.

Thanks!

Here are my LSDJ kit fix comparison recordings. Hope these help. If you ever need any comparisons in the future i'm willing to test things out.

GBA AGB-001 headphone out. First without fix, then with fix. LSDJ 4.7.0. With the fix it has some pops/clicks at the end of samples.

I just tried my Game Boy Advance agb-001 with LSDJ 4.7.1 and it's still making the pops and clicks. Still sounds nice and clean on my DMG's though.

I just tested the new 4.7.0 LSDj on a GBA sp AGS-101, GBA sp AGS-001 game cube GB player and game boy advance agb 001 and the kits do sound cleaner but now my sample kits are making clicking/pop noises at the end of each sample. I tested using the new lsdj and an older version with the same sav, so all my settings should be the same just different lsdj versions. I also tested this on a DMG CPU 06, a DMG CPU 08 and a GBC. The kits play correctly on these and sound great. I'll try and get a recording of these done tonight and post them.

I just got my mgb-004 adapter in the mail. I tested the adapter with a game boy color and it powers my arduinoboy perfectly. Now I can use my arduinoboy with my DMG and gameboy pockets/colors using a dmg-07 four player cable.

Thanks! This is awesome, I can't wait to use it at a show!

I have an arduinoboy that's powered from my dmg's link port. I was wondering if I could use an mgb-004 link cable adapter to convert my arduinoboys DMG link cable to a GBP/GBC style one so I can power and use it with a game boy color? Does the mgb-004 adapter have the correct 5v pin?

Thanks

that!

that is a beautiful idea

That would be amazing. It would be cool if it could also sync up with LSDJ. The main focus would be on the midi side of things though. Having the ability to share drum patches would also be useful. I could see a lot of people using a program like this.

I'm a big fan of full length album releases. Full length albums feel like a complete package and not just a sampler. EP's are great for releasing music in between full length albums and releasing tracks that don't fit on an album, alternate takes, b-sides and remix's of tracks.

For my releases I always try and have at least 30 minutes of music on them or they just don't feel complete. My most recent chiptune album clocks in at 34 minutes. http://casval.bandcamp.com/album/the-to … -massacre/

I'm working on writing some new songs for my second album and I thought it might help me if I got some feedback on my first album. Let me know what you guys think. The album was recorded with a Pro Sound modded Game Boy DMG and LSDJ.

Thanks!
