By the same token, I'm bothered by babies and young children with piercings, as I don't think they had a choice in the matter.

Exactly the kind of stuff I was talking about.  They are people, not dolls/toys.

I think this is a great idea.  I often go looking at off the wall stuff with crazy ideas and often wonder if it would be useful for music.

There are already a bunch of threads that would fit in this section scattered around.  Having everything in one place where you can scroll through the reviews might help people make decisions on what to buy or try.

Continuing this derailing: would you believe that it was the complete opposite when I was little. We had *one* guy in our school who had had a circumcision. People sort of whispered about it too for some reason. xD

I think that may be a regional thing.  For a few decades or a century or so it was popular to circumcise male babies in the US.  I made sure to keep it in my pants, so I doubt I would have been identified as being different.

Looks like you kinda broke the case.  You might try being a bit more careful in the future.

Hahaha me and my fiancée agree on vaccinations and are only getting the required ones for her daughter(3) and our little boy(1).  circumcision was the fun one... As someone very into tattoos and body mods I was against it completely as I see it as an unnecessary and painful procedure that everyone does to their boys because everyone else does it.  It holds to many biblical ideals for my liking and I see it as something a child can choose to remove when they are at an age where they understand what it is and if they personally feel the need for it to be removed.  Her baby Dr. Confirmed my belief of people only doing it because it's popular in society by remarking that "there is no evidence that it's healthier or better for the baby but I know I circumcised my two boys because I didn't want them peeing next to other boys and getting made fun of for looking different".  Well his stupid comments worried my fiancée into getting it done and after seeing how much pain our new little guy was in she instantly and to this day regrets.

Poor guy.  I still hold it against my parents that they had part of my penis destroyed when I was too young to give my opinion or defend myself.  I am also into body mods, but only when the individual fully understands why it is being done and really wants to do it.

I have not personally sold anything on ebay.  Family does, and I have considered it, but comments like the above make me more hesitant.

I consider myself lucky.  I haven't had too many issues as a buyer, and most sellers have been easy to talk to and usually work with me or try to help me if there is an issue.  Of the real people I have purchased from I only recall one seller who has actually lied (Richard Allen Poppe...and my issues with him were far from uncommon), although I am pretty picky and make sure my questions and concerns are addressed before buying.  Sellers usually try to make sure everything is right.

I know there are sellers out there who try to take advantage of foolish people, and that ebay wants their cut, but holding your money because of a lack of feedback is not right.  I know I have forgotten to leave feedback before (did those people get their money?).  What about people who are idiots and didn't read or look at everything in the listing, or who don't know what they are doing?  Is ebay screwing the sellers because of those people?

I often do weird stuff with cartridge slots.  In one of my tests I removed all plastic over the cartridge.  It doesn't seem to cause too many problems with structural integrity, and since there isn't much there to get messed up there isn't a need for acrylic.

Also, be careful.  Timmy is hiding under the front of the case.

Not sure how soon, but I think there are frontlights for the color coming soonish so you don't have to harvest them from SPs.

ok, cool.  I figured clear would be for backlighting, so regular.  Wasn't sure if i should pick up the pinks and greens i like as i see em.

They don't work very well in the NES controller.

Good to know, as this is one thing I was considering them for.  I plan on picking up colors I like and figuring out what to do with them later.

kitsch, what colors of these do you plan on doing regularly?

OPINION TIME!

So I have this one. I call it R4G3 QU!T. I'm just about done carving (few more details and some cleanup work) and I'm getting it ready for paint...
Should it just be for playing games, or should I mod the shit out of it?

I saw this one on your deviantart and thought it was pretty cool.  I say go all out, even if it is only used for gaming, but I agree with DESUMATE.

Maybe you could do something with a pump and blood for use during performances...if only i had the ability to make my ideas happen.  I always feel like this when coming up with ideas:

When you have time can you give the silicone buttons a couple test runs and let us know how they to plastic with things like very high levels of tetris and muddygb diagonal notes. With diagonals it is too sloppy for me to consistently hit the note and just that note, without hitting another first.  These being more flexible may have less of an issues with that.

industrial metal - dunno if this genre exists in any cohesive form

Yeah, it does.  This was sorta what led me to other forms of metal.

This for me, too.

I like a lot of your other stuff, too.  Gotta love TG.

industrial/post-industrial stuff (Not so much of the dancey stuff.)

You mean like darkwave and futurepop? Stuff like VNV Nation or Covenant?

I love that shit.

I am not a huge fan of futurepop and such, but I have friends who are into it.  I listen to it from time to time.  That is actually some of what I was trying to include when I said "not so much the dancey stuff".

If it falls under the major genre(s) there is a pretty good chance I am cool with it.  The reason I said it is hard to label some of what I like is because a lot of the post-industrial stuff is so amorphous, and if you try to include everything that was inspired or some way related to industrial then you include a lot of music.  Even if you go with a more conservative understanding you have a lot of cross over with other types of music, and the same person or group under the same name can have a wide range of sounds.  I could try to give you a list of stuff I like, but it would be missing a ton.

To make things simpler, sure, I listen to the mainstream stuff sometimes, but it is not usually what I listen to.

Edit: Or did I completely miss what you were saying?
