Nice. I've never had much luck with modplug or milky, but for a more advanced tracker check out SunVox. Modular synthesis, sampling, and free, plus wi-fi transfer support between mobile (iOS version I think is $5) and PC versions.
I started writing chip with Famitracker, +1 on that recommendation. Walking through and duplicating YouTube tutorials is immediately gratifying.
The only thing I would ask is that you don't go completely batshit overboard and compose a 45 minute soundscape or something ridiculous like that.
Oh well way to drop this little tidbit with only one week til deadline.
jk but any restriction on number of submissions? Could one submit two tracks?
So I just used the website's contact form to figure out where this music comes from and possibly how to submit my own corporate jams and it just took me to a page that said "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Well, a fundamental difference occurs between visual art and music. Our medium happens across time. A picture mirrored is much different than a sequence of musical events reversed, in my opinion.
but anyway, pretentious theoretical stuff aside, a lot of music sounds great reversed. Some composers use complex planning to actually use subject matter which can be reflected upon itself. Lots of canons and fugues do this.
Awesome to see some things happening in Ohio. I almost went to Columbus this weekend, could have probably hit this on the way.

these arent guys who are new to chipmusic and could benefit from this kind of stuff, its established dudes that dont have anything to gain by having their entire albums put up on there
While I agree with TSS that posting entire an entire album is excessive (if not against the law, certainly impolite and bordering on abusive) I also don't think any one of us is "above" grassroots promotion. Once one of us is making Kanye money I mean maybe.
