I hear the Milky Way is nice this time of year.

As Ben said, that melody gets really good when it's in full. My only suggestion would be some versatility in the lead. Switch it up when it's not the chorus to a different sound. Just something to break it up a little more. Love the synth part at the end. You better make it a habit to post more on here. I'm anxious to see what else you can do. wink

First cart: 10:17:17
Second cart: 12:15:46

Poor first cart. I had it longer but it lost favor. #2 is my go to mobile one now. Keep in mind that 90% of the time, both carts are running because I use both at the same time for one song.

Haha yeah. I'm still thinking about the title anyway. It was just a quick thing.

I'm thinking of something like this:

A little bit pixel.

Looking for some constructive criticism on this song. Be as critical as you want, I'm really looking to improve before I release an ep. Any help is welcome

I didn't do any mastering on mine. /shrug

I hate mastering. Before doing Chiptune I did other Electronica and that's all everyone talked about. It's such a chore. If I do mastering, it'll be very light. And I won't stress about it.
Decktonic, nice write-up.

Wow some great advice in here, thank you everyone. Posting on reddit is a good idea. Je Mappelle, yeah since 8bc closed, I've been using soundcloud to spread my music and build a base.

I think maybe I came off as not putting the music first in my post but that is not the case. It's true that I'm not as serious about people caring about this EP but that doesn't mean I don't want the music to be right. I could care less about the money or the art or even how many people download it for free, as long as the ones who do enjoy what they hear. wink

And I hope it didn't sound like I was just just going to release one tomorrow or something. This is a long process and I'm very nitpicky and kind of a perfectionist.  I just wanted any advice I could, and you guys stepped up. I was planning on posting in the constructive criticism forum.

Another question: how many songs would you recommend? I've been building up songs for this for a while and I need to start weeding some out.

Well, shit. Nvm then.

Why would you release anything if you don't think it's good?

If you're talking about me, I was being sarcastic.
