Still on it, odd mix of FM funk madness and god knows! I've got about 1:40 so far, I'm aiming for around three and a half minutes.

Joyce Sims is dope, my old history teacher lent me a tape of her stuff bizarrely.

Here's a massive old electro song:

This one's more famous but probably ranks as my favourite electro tune of all time:

Extending the definition to ''neo''-electro (Clear, early Plaid, Drexciya and its related projects), here's a dope joint:

I could go on forever about this kind of stuff, definitely the biggest influence on my own trax!

Wow! I've been on a big Terry Riley/Lamonte Young tip lately, this was fascinating and incredibly inspiring. Cheers!

I was browsing 8bc's music archive yesterday for some tracks by Starmelt, whose NL 2 techno tracks I always liked. However for whatever reason, most were no longer there (including Shitstorm, which was ace). Looking through my old chipmusic collection, it struck me there is actually quite a lot of music that I love, in many cases now seldom mentioned, by people that are no longer active in the scene or elsewhere.

Without wanting to be disrespectful to such folks, who I'm sure took a conscious step to move out of chipmusic, are there any other artists we've loved but no longer see posts from in the 'Releases' section? Or conversely are the likes of Lektrogirl, Future-Eater and Micropupazzo, musicians who made some wicked tracks in the past, active musically in other guises? I'm curious since ultimately I bet there are a lot of great forgotten tunes lying around on our hard drives.

Mostly because this is an NES and the original poster request examples of Game Boy sync tracks.

I'm overtired and have seemingly completely lost the ability to read. I'll just stop posting methinks!

It was mentioned in the previous page, yep!

Oh god I'm a tit. Well I don't think anyone's mentioned this amazing Venetian Snares track yet, the chipmusic factor being supplied by Midines:

Truly amazed no-one's mentioned peeR yet.

I'm having a go at Laughing Acid just using the original track if that's alright?

How did Psilodump get the insane sounds on here? One of 8BP's best in a while, along with that intriguing A.M.U. EP and Desmos.
