Fuck I didn't notice that...I've seen it linked in blogs and the like before but I guess it's quite implicit if it's linked in a thread called 'TRACKER FOOD (SAMPLES) wink.

This is one of my favourite sites on the internet, something I found by accident digging around a while back looking for some information. Some absolute genius has sampled as many announcements (and brilliant other noises like ticket barriers) from Japanese train stations as possible and uploaded them for free here. They actually make really good listening on their own, though of course are ripe for sampling...

Was telling people about Gang Starr today bizarrely, this is very sad news.

I most certainly will get one. Will there be the option to buy the synth assembled once the initial run of ten has sold out? I attended electronics classes for three years but damaged my projects and equipment around me so badly I don't feel confident with a soldering iron. I'd buy one now but I've just bought a load of new gear, so am out of money, on top of which the volcanic ash issue has totally fucked postage which I wouldn't want to risk with an $85 item.

I have to hand it to you guys; this is actually very good.

Now the best release of last year is the best release of this year too!

Crankshaft 3003 is an absolute monster of a tune - Raveguru is amazing.

How can you NOT like Poke's track? Goddamn it's insane.

And Rico Z is one of the only people I've ever met who's compiled an album with care - he searched out (wait what?) people like Mr. Nissness and Tommy Walker III on the internet, search them on Myspace - more good tunes.

He did a 10'' with Mark Denardo which also featured Tobiah and the Hardliner...Poke 1,170 has it, it's bizarre.
