the button press idea is basically what i'm talking about.. if it's pulling a port high then one can easily just use a simple logic clock source. if it pulls port low, then a simple transistor can be used w/ the analog clock source to pull the port low.

again. simple analog clock stuff but from there you can easily use so many other devices to sync the NES to.. and MIdi clock to analog clock converters are super simple to make or buy.

i'd aim for more analog clock input and then the sky's the limit and we can just use midi to analog clock converters smile Which also opens up to using Sync24, and modular. smile
Just say'n .

Word. If i have my new car by then i'll probably just plan an east coast tour. which would push it into March/May.... we'll see how things go.
Trying to do way too many things at once right now.

i have found netbooks to suck for music production when it come to using CPU power.. BUT... programs such as renoise run perfectly fine as long as you stick to sample triggering and midi... NO PLUG-INs.

so i would then like to think that... if these netbooks are far superior to old CPU's such as Amiga/Commodore that they should be able to run old trackers just fine...
But i haven't attempted personally.. I think cTrix uses his netbook to run a C64 tracker emulator.

Neil,

if you can fire some kind of clock signal out the controller port 2 i could try to put together somekind of sync device. if it could be something
as simple as 24ppqn  would be a great start.. at least then we can achieve DIN sync. And from there Midi can easily be had.

perhaps it could be a 2 mode type thing where you can set to master/slave
So it will either provide clock out or wait till it receives clock input.

And on a selfish note... having the 24ppqn output would allow me to sync to my modular a lot easier. hahaha

**SOLD**

Been looking for a good drum machine to circuit bend?  Well this is a great one!!
even comes w/ the original box. at least whats left of it. I'll ship with a power supply too.

But i dont think i'l get around to bending another one of these for myself, so i'm just going to sell this
one off to a good home.

Please PM me if you're interested. I wont ship  international unless someone pays me an extra $40-50 usd for shipping.

If you get really creative you can do something more exciting than this...
