Also on topic, my only problems with the Sammich are the name, and the output. a mono output option would've been nice.
You can make a mono output pretty easily.. simply use resistors to create a passive mixer.
lots of stuff of DHR was 8-bit.
i did some 8-bit stuff in the late 90's.as well as tracker based stuff when i was really young but i didn't know it was
a tracker at the time. and sadly never recorded any of it. too bad.haha..

Once i receive the PCB's and build one up and confirm that the PCB works, I will then offer the kits up for sale.

FInished the PCB layout today. Will be sending it out for manufacturing. I expect to have 20 pcb's in stock in about a week.. the rest of the parts will be in shortly as well.. I updated the board to have a +5V output as well just incase you want to incorporate this project into another box with something else that requires a +5V supply.
Anyways.. I'll get to writing up the pdf build document. Shouldn't take me too long.
Once i can spec out the BOM file i will have a price per kit figured out.
so far, i got yelled at during my lunch break and threatened with firing (for asserting that while on unpaid lunch break, i dont need to work)...fucking hell..cant wait to go home

totally cool someone took the time to do the video.
But i will say.. RCA outputs are not hi-fi outputs.
and they dont make the sound quality "better" on a dmg.
the output mod simply makes it louder. Which sometimes gets mistaken for
being "sonically better". it's just a trick the ear plays on you because something is louder.
Just me being completely nit picky and technical... not talk'n shizz not making fun... etc etc. I say some of the craziest shit when i'm being interviewed so i can't even blame you. haha..

How big? Still toying with the idea of expanding the LSDJMC^2
it is very very very unlikely you'll fit the 1x12 inside my lsdjmc2 enclosure.
or Firestarters for that matter.
best bet would be to just build it into another box. and use a short midi cable patch.
