is the MG-808 even available? the 909 was a sample based drum machine.. why bother making one? just use samples of it. 
i used to own a 909.. i'd take an 808 any day of the week.

I've been distracted from the sequencer a big learning about analog drum circuits.
I'm currently building 2 ds8's, a synare4, trying to clone a synare3, and also modding 3 of my Dr-110's. And designing a DR-55 clone.
Oh, and i'm also making TR-808 voice modules for my modular.
way too many things distracting me from what i need to be doing. lol

As you can see you are insulting someone on a personal level. Where can you see me insulting anyone on a personal level? Or being hostile to anyone? I am being pretty clean. I told someone to fuck off from derailing a thread, but never attacked him on a personal level. Thrill Kill Kult and the room was pretty empty on a rainy chicago night. The lead singer started preaching about satan and the bible, and then he dramatically pulled out some hotel bible from beneah his death moomoo and threw it on the the empty pit floor. There was a moment of uncomfortable silence before I put down my drink, gave an exaggerated sigh, and walked over the the bible and ripped it in half,when it was then ripped out of my hands by some preteen goths, and they started their next song.

are you referring to the software coming first or the hardware?
how can hardware come before the software supports it? the hardware requires software to convert data.. so i would think piggy PSP needs the support for midi fist.
