auditory masking?
just turn down the kick volume or use a kick with a more narrow frequency range (less of the high end sizzle maybe?)

First off, I'm in no way involved in the project, but I was trolling around Kickstarter and came across it. It all look so cool and impressive, but also very nebulous and nondescript! I did a little research and I didn't come up with much.
I'm sending a question on Kickstarter as well, but I wanted to check if anybody on here knew about this project.
Also, Kickstarter guy, if you see this tell us more! I want to give you money!

it's interesting what he chooses to name these tracks. i'm kinda curious what he would name my music. the differences in mastering on some of these tracks is pretty obvious.
