This is really cool. Is the backlight inverted?

To be honest, my first writing experiences were literally putting random notes into a tracker. If they didn't sound horrible, I kept them.

edit for grammar

Might as well try out smile

i guess most people would have written "drugs" here

I've never had the pleasure of tracking while high or drunk. I bet it's be pretty annoying though, what with my attention span already being that of a bottle-cap's

I bet it would be super frustrating using a tracker. I can barely use LSDJ anyway big_smile

I only live about an hour's drive from Seattle, is there any way I could play a show with y'all?

(Of course I need to write some real music first.)

I've had the theme song stuck in my head for the past 3 days. All the tracks are really cool.

Damn, I need a car.

Hype is for important people.

Edit: I just release crap and see how long it takes before I get any downloads. big_smile

Call me crazy, but I can see this getting even radder. I love this gameboy so much that I photoshopped what I think it's screaming for:

+ White backlight
+ Matching purple screen protector

Damn, you're right. I would buy that in a heartbeat. big_smile
People don't use enough colored screen protectors. They're legit.

Listening to the opening track, sounds really tight. smile

This is the raddest DMG I've ever seen. Without a doubt.

Hey. Most of you probably don't know me. I'm really new here, I discovered chipmusic about 4 months ago. I just released my first EP, 'Chipsongs and Whatnot'. I'm fairly happy with the songs on it, and I'm fairly happy how it has come together as a whole. The original release date was July 30th, but I just got my computer back from the repair shop. I just felt like it would be good to release something, so I might be more noticed in the chipcommunity. Anyway, buy/download it if you like it, and feedback is always great. smile

Edit: A small number of handmade CDs will be produced, for $5 each. PM me if you're interested.
Edit again: With download of the whole album, you get a bonus track called "Sinking Sailboat".

I listen to my music mostly to listen for mistakes, but I also listen to it sometimes just for listening to. I feel like the music I've written is a part of me, like someone took a knife and cut off a piece of me. It's not really a mother-child thing for me, I guess that implies that they're two different things. I don't know.

I know it's weird, but I'm a weird person.

I think chipmusic needs more chord tension. just take a note from a chord, and flatten it by a half step. Or put two notes a half step away from each other in the same chord, that can have fun results. Sometimes it just sounds wrong, but other times it's super cool.

Damn. This shows how badly I need a job. So I can buy a plane ticket to come to one of your shows.

Congrats. big_smile
