Question... if the general consensus is that "out of the box" music is better and most of the more prolific musicians use that approach... wouldn't that make it "in the box" and "less controversial"?

I think that's part of the reason CC threads are so vague sometimes. They KNOW there's probably something off, but they don't have the expertise to figure out what it is, so they(we?) bring it to you guys to critique and point out the flaws that they missed.

Sounds like something that would be in an old DOS game or something, but it's not really something I'd rip from the game and add to my mp3 library. It's serviceable background music, at the very least...
Edit: Needs a stronger beat. It sounds underdeveloped, like it's a concept for something to be performed by a full ensemble of instruments.

The Boy Bands like N*Sync and the Backstreet Boys had some pretty sick drops. Just listen to the part after the "slow down symphonic bridge" that they had in every song. That's a great drop.

Yeah... I kind of use the, comments and the "Bookmark" and "Download" buttons as a "Thumbs up", if you will, but not everybody sees it that way, and will just be like "Hmmm. I like this. *next*" without commenting or whatever. Doesn't mean your music isn't worth something.

To be clear, all my pixel art is exported as a png or bmp, but for some reason Photobucket hosts it as a JPG. Any suggestions on image hosts that DON'T do that?
Are you sure photobucket is hosting your PNGs as JPG? I know for certain that they compress BMPs into JPG files, but all my PNGs stay as pngs.
IMO, you guys should have used, like, an epic photo of your band 'shopped with cool dramatic effects and colors for artwork. Like... that's so rare in chip... it'd make an impact, I think.'
Yeah... artwork. It's weird, but... it seems like artwork and title are really what draws people in.
But, yeah... I love this. it's so epic. The blending of chip and live instruments is perfect. I'd love to see it live.
