So you name all your releases after the medium/aesthetic? Interesting.

Oh boy. Wasn't expecting those drums to kick in like that. I was just getting used to the smooth feel. Oh, oh. This has vocals over it. Cool.

This is pretty cool, man. It has a nice vibe to it.

Oh, but I do have Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Not installed, but the disks are sitting right on my desk.

*did this thread go from troll to sincere to sarcastic to sincere??*

Edit: Funny story about that, actually. Somehow disk one ended up getting cracked right at the edge, so I hurried up and tried to rip it to my HD so I could burn a copy. Luckily, the only data on the disk that was damaged was the direct x install. Yay.

OOOOOh booy!! I'm happy to hear anything new about HT.

Maybe this will fix the problem I had with pitch bends in transposed patterns that I forgot to report =S

Oh, cool, the replayer and converter have also been updated.

I also found the NES game 1942 on the sidewalk one time. Also, just this year I found a pokemon diamond or crystal or whatever on the side of the street near my house. LOL DOn't know if it works, though, cuz I don't have a DS.

My bro found "Skate or Die: Bad n Rad" on the street one day. That is a pretty fun game. Don't know anything about SaD, though.

@bit wish: I have it for PS2, but my PS2 don't go online

I'm trying to tell you guys. One Must Fall: Battlegrounds, man. that game...

The most idiotic thing I hear on this forum most the time is "Omg these noobs are killing chip" Every genre has new musicians. So the lack of respect for new members is ridiculous, not to mention new artists, who can possibly carry this beautiful style of music when the older generation sort of fades away. In a way, it's always like a paranoia, I mean no one on this forum invented chiptune... we are all related to chip style music though right? I mean members should try their  best to get along, we're a small community, and after all why burn bridges with musicians we are in the same house as? Rant is over now, *exhales some herb

Many people forget, it's not a gameboy or SID chip that makes an artist. I can hand a guitar to a noob on the street, ain't gonna make him fucking hendrix, I agree, why strain to keep chip underground?

These two posts seem to contradict each other, but I can see where they don't.

Anyway, I see newbies on this forum get praised and embraced, or at least encouraged, on a regular basis. I'd say one out of every four. And most of the time it's not by other newbies.

Plus, it isn't anything new for some of the "old guard" to pit themselves against the newcomers who are looking for the acceptance of the veterans, and the new artists to eventually say "who cares what you think anyway?" (but they don't really mean it) and do their own thing . It happened with Rock n Roll (what kind of music? The Real kind, man.) vs. Rock,  the original Punk Rock in the 70's vs. everything else that came after that dared don the Punk mantle, Metal vs. Nu Metal vs. Hardcore, OG vs. New-School Rap, Hiphop vs. New Jack Swing, Gregorian Chant vs. Hymn, Henry Ford vs. Anything that isn't the original Model-T...

Not saying it's right, but it's natural. I'd even go so far as to say that this phenomenon is actually often good for progress and reinvention and change in the arena of art. It's just a little extra push to keep newcomers from being complacent in the old ways.

Actually, I'm not really sure about that. I tend to like retro-oriented stuff over trendy stuff, myself. >_>

Just wanted to say this is really cool, and it's inspired me to do some reggae-ish stuff in LSDJ. I downloaded it when it was first posted, but forgot to say anything. I've been thinking it's a shame that nobody came back to thank you for the mp3s.

I found the lengths of some of the loops in the zipped pack for lame people to be a bit ill-chosen, though. Most of them are either too short or too long, lol. But that's what the source and nsf is for.

Good stuff. I really enjoyed this. My favorites are When I Fall In Love, Bomberdub, Chapulin and Skylarking. Really nice.

a one must fall: battlegrounds server would be nice... sad

I really like that bass, wow.

I really like how it takes the old demoscene style and blends it with modern production techniques. This is really cool.

meaningless online activities can cut into productive time a lot.

I have a question. When did people start referring to this type of music as "chipmusic"?

Could you post pics of the wire job when it's done? I'm curious to see what it looks like. Or, if anybody else has a pic of this type of repair job, I'd settle for those.
