If by "basically" you mean nothing at all like a GG Allen set.

My money is on : | Krew for *that* type of behavior. The upper Midwest is weird.

By the way, "panties from a loved one" is now my new 8bitpeoples tribute band.

How about a ticker at the top of the messageboard? The only way to mark a unit as "used" is to enter the serial number and provide a photo.

You then provide your social security number, birth certificate and panties from a loved one.

Panicking. Freaking out. Possibly driving across the country to drop off 100 or so 7" vinyls to NYC with only minutes to spare.

You?

Okay, so it turns out that the board isn't fried. Instead, it was just the screen that was shorting it out.. which is weird because I didn't even have the thing soldered on my second run to see if the board still worked, not to mention I had the exposed wire wrapped in electrical tape. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ When I took it completely out, it booted up and played a game just fine.

Perhaps this helps?

Yes, and small demos. I'll shoot a video tonight of the c64 running JCH.

I have experienced a few larger demos not running, but I don't remember these running with a stock 1541 anyway. Most of everything I've personally tried to run has worked.

Nevermind the dust!

I've got three of these (two for c64/one for vic-20) and they are great. Some software takes advantage of the SD/UIEC option, so that's a plus.

Also, consider purchasing the JiffyDOS kernal as well. This will save you many, many headaches.

Has anyone else noticed an influx of full-retard on this board since the closing of 8bc?

Nevermind the fact I just signed up last week, of course.

Back on topic - AUSTRAILIAIALA IS HEAPS DEADLY LEGEND.

Did you end up looking in WI, particularly in Milwaukee at all?

prob= probably *not problem

and no i havent looked because i want something in the Chicagoland / Northwest Indiana area
u dont have to go man no ones making you  lol....but yea if u needa ride i can help with that Saskrotch

Edit: Mainly because i know most of the people that run the venues...will also most likely b able to throw the "out of towners" some gas money of course

Again, buzzkill here. I know what you meant by "prob." My point was that when you are anything less than 100% certain when booking a show - in this case: "prob" and "maybe" - it's "prob" not a good idea to start thinking Blip status.

Remember Chip-con? I'd hate to see my Midwest peeps get involved in a similar mess.

As for mentioning Milwaukee - I read the NWI in your previous post as Northern WI/Chicagoland not Northwestern Indiana/Chicagoland.

Food for thought - Milwaukee is 90 miles north of Chicago, close enough to Minnesota and a hop away from Madison. We have large venues that are used to this style of music and would love the business. Just saying.

/end of hijack

You know, I had this a few weeks ago and I thought it was fucking awful.

...

Then again, I was drunk and I'm not a fan of pale ales in any form. I'm still confused about the pale ale-8bit connection. A four loko/sparks rip-off would have made more sense to me; not to say I'm a big fan of those either. For those in the Milwaukee area: they have this at Burnhearts located in Bay View.

GET RIPPED.

I don't mean to be a buzzkill (yes I do) but I see a "prob" and a "maybe" in that response.

Wait. Why am I explaining myself? Back to craigslist!

Allow me to introduce my stupid self @2:06:

Yeah, that's an Amiga being smashed. One survived and the other was stolen. Pretty stupid, huh? I won't get into the exact number of how many I've gone through in my lifetime, but trust me when I say a few busted Amigas for a music video is minor. May as well break out the chainsaw, right?

Why the hell would you waste an amiga by chainsawing it for a stupid video?

Because a DMG doesn't look as cool when sawed in half.
