I saw this pop by on the Synthopia FB page and thought: is that Nick Maynard from CM.org? And it is! Such a cool way to use a Portastudio (:

It was fun, man!
The mix sounded like a 10 minute bossfight, perfect (:

First time I modded a DMG with an LED backlight, I had te exact same problem haha.

Welcome! I filled out your survey wink

Thank you both!

Hey Y'all,

I'm thinking of painting my DMG(s), but had a question. Do you sand your Gameboy before painting it or do you just wash it and then paint it?
Any other cool tips when painting a DMG? I'd love to hear them!

Thanks!

Why would you buy a shirt with such stains on the armpits!?!?!?
Someone here has one weird fetish.

I'll do a more crazy one right now.

Hey fellow chipbuddies,

half a year ago I made this song with a wobble in it, I lost the song when my cart crashed.
My problem now is that I want to recreate this song, but can't remember how I made that wobble.
Is there any chipgod that can help me recreate that wobble intrument?

This is the song I'm talking about, wobble at 1:32: https://soundcloud.com/w4lkr/trainwreck

Thanks in advance!

I didn't know this was possible.

The way I see this is like god creating a new colour.

I bought a modded xbox with 5 games and 2 controllers for 10 euro's.
Also an Amiga500 with Protracker 2.2a and a lot of extra stuff for 10 euro's.
And today I bought a ps2 with modchip and about 120 games + 2 controllers for 30 euro's.

Not bad if I may say (:

Here prices are depending on the color of the DMG.

The prices are around 15/20 euro's, grey ones are about 10 euro's.
Transparant ones are at least f'in 30 euro's which I think is insane.

Also, you could check out synthcart. It's a cartridge which allows you to play synthesizer on your C64.
But the thing is, which might be a problem for you, it doesn't support midi. You use the keys on the C64 to play. There are C64 piano overlays available on ebay I guess. Got one myself and it's tons of fun.

MSSIAH is a lovely program. The only lame part about it is that saving your presets or songs is a pain is the ***.

The monosynth on MSSIAH is capable of what you want to do (using your midikeyboard to 'control' the SID chip).

I don't know if they still sell MSSIAH cartridges and also the forums went offline about a week ago.

Pikilipita for the GBA is also OK.
Squarejockey for the GBA is OK.
Glitchness is just awesome because of the glitching ofcourse.

I
l'll surely keep this in mind, thanks!

The problem I'm currently having is that when i put samples on a floppy, protracker won't read that floppy.

I transfer the files from my pc to my floppy using a usb floppydrive and when I try to open the floppy in Protracker it say "can't find dir".

Got any idea how to solve that? Already tried searching, but no luck.
