Hey, another person from Idaho. Your music sounds good. You have a lot of pretty panned arps; sometimes they are very quiet in the mix. I'd say let'em shine. 
to me it's all about the texture of the sound; chipmusic is just electronic music stripped way down to the nitty-gritty...

I've been a musician of some type for awhile. I like the expressive and discovery aspects of it. I have been playing chip type stuff for a little bit. I just want to thank everyone for cutting down the jungle and laying down this road and the continued work done on it so it doesn't crumble away and fade back to jungle. We're all very lucky to stumble into this and find it fully formed and available for the taking. So thanks for being there and for adding your energy/time/life for this to be something we can all share in...or not.

So, I understand everything except how to find the location of the values in HxD I need to edit for the different palettes of colors. How do I find these in the grid?
Here are the address offsets for the following colour palettes:
AMI: 0x40EC
CRT: 0x4114
CUTE: 0x413C
GRAY: 0x4164
RED: 0x418C
RGB: 0x41B4
This is what I'm looking at... It looks like the layout of data after the first color is different than yours.
Edit: nvm, finally noticed the offset display at the bottom of HxD

I have a specific color palette I'd like to make... I'll try to edit one of those .ips, or maybe find someone to do it for a few bucks if I can't.

scannerboy, did you ever try this with 10uF?
If you're just backing up a save file to your computer, isn't the command for that "read" rather than "write"?
That doesn't narrow it down much, those composers have done music in heaps of different styles!
I bet you could find some chiptune covers of their work though.
