It sounds like he was using the typical "yuhyuh" pingpong sound, but in manual mode with some F commands

Hello, I'm having a weird issue slaving lsdj with my electribe... I'm just trying to get a tempo sync from the electribe to the gameboy.
No matter how slow the tempo, lsdj tries playing extremely fast, and only the first few steps of a phrase, then gives the message "too busy" and crashes.

I'm using one of the kitschbent-xiwi arduinoboys, and my cable looks fine. I had it working on other settings.
Seems strange, anyone have any ideas?
thanks!

edit: lsdj is working in master mode, sending the clock signal TO the electribe, but not the other way around. I need lsdj to slave.

Hey!
Just like the title says, what are some favorite things you've bent?

I haven't done anything yet but want to start. I have Casio ca-100 I'm eventually going to try, and I'll probably buy a speak-and-something since they're cheap and there's plenty of guides for them. I can't find much information about my Casio though.

I like your wav channel!

I'd recommend just getting a new one off craigslist or something if you need it soon. I haven't heard of an issue like that besides with the GB-303

best of luck, sorry man! hmm

Can you take a picture of the pins and birvert chip?
Where is your chip from? I had a similar problem with a bivert kit recently, it turned out the instructions were old and gave the wrong order of wiring.

that does look creepy / kinda cool. looks like it's just cutting out the middle shades of color/grey between solid black and white

that's how it goes man!

I was already really attached to some 8-bit game soundtracks as a kid. When I was in high school I got super in to crystal castles first album, then read about the theft/plagiarism, started listening to covox and found a bunch of other people on youtube which led me here. Around that time my dad got me Reason so I started making "fakebit" during 2011~2012 and after a few years I mostly transitioned to lsdj and other gameboy software.

I have found EMS carts to be occasionally unreliable. I even have one that corrupts any .sav I flash to it. (yes with fresh battery)
I'd like to get some DnD's but whenever I have money they're out of stock. /:
