One time I had a dream that I met Glomag in a thrift store in New York looking for a jacket or something. He was also a pilot and I had to do my laundry before he flew away and I couldn't.

Alright, I guess I just needed a bit more patience with it, thanks dudes.

That was like 30 minutes of intense rubbing.

I must have been very lucky backlighting my first two DMGs, because I got the backs cleanly peeled off the screen without problem. Since then, I've tried four more and with every one, all I end up with is a screen full of leftover gunky adhesive.
I've tried scrubbing it with everything I can think of, rubbing alcohol, glass cleaner, nail polish remover... I can't get this shit off.
How do the more experienced modders out there do it?

I would say find somebody with a mac. Once you download the mac version it's something like 4 or 5 quick lines in terminal and you're done. Chainsaw Police has a great tutorial.

This is amazing and so expressive. These songs take me far away. Thank you for making this.

Don't know if this is common, but every song I save with a name six characters long, lsdj adds a "te" to the end file name. If the song is 7 characters long it just adds an  "e" to it.
I'm using the two latest versions of lsdj and it happens with both.

Does this happen to y'all?

My setup for GLEETCH LONDON at the Moustache Bar in London tonight!! Might add a bass synth pedal in there somewhere for extra possibilities re: making people feel like they're listening to some dance music of some strange sort, and not just a harsh noise artist inexplicably booked at midnight at the trendiest bar in dalston big_smile

Dang

Yeah, the contrast wheel doesn't seem to change anything.

I tried doing my first mods on a dmg today, and when I put it all back together the screen came up completely black. Everything else works though, she powers on and plays music.

I've googled and read other peoples posts about this, and often it seems the problem is the ribbon cable not being plugged in all the way. I'm sure mine is.

I'm worried I might have manipulated the ribbon cable to much, I was as careful as possible but it was obnoxious trying to weasel the thing out, and get it back in. (way harder than my CGBs!)

If the lcd or cable really is ruined, how can I get the cable out next time without breaking it?

Thanks in advance!
