Er... I'm up for doing a submission. Just nothing ridiculously complex please. I ussually do fairly flat minimalistic stuff so I'm not too experienced with "real" pixeling.

I just got my cart in the other day and I can definitely hear a difference. I didn't think it would be that noticeable.
Thanks. I'm working on copying this my my LSDJ cart to extend it and I've already got the main part of another song. One problem I'm having is with the Bass Drum taking up a whole pulse channel. And when I stick notes in between it often just sounds weird...

Been taking piano lessons for 9 years, I started messing on keyboards myself about 5 years ago. I've self taught myself guitar (electric and acoustic) for about 4-5 years and Bass for about 3 months. I did some simple tracker stuff about 3 years ago for a game, but haven't touched chiptunes again until now.
I started a band 4-5 months ago. Been jamming in bands for about 3 years. I can't sing to save my life (D=), but I write complete songs with lyrics and multiple parts as practice about once every two weeks.

Dude, I totally have Blades of Steel. I remember my friend and I laughing about some part in the soundtrack we found funny. Good stuff.

Yea, so I live in small town in southern USA - New Bern, North Carolina to be exact. We are the child city of Bern in Switzerland and are pretty darn historic and all that jazz, but we've only really kept one thing over the past 300 years. Screw cows, we have freaking Bears.

As to the actual music scene here, its pretty much Rock or Metal. Or Top 40 remixes. A small hick town means hardly any nerds, and then even fewer nerds interested in techno/trance/chipmusic. Ima try to change that in a couple months though.
