i really wanted an excuse to party too, maybe later this month or after next semester ill try to get a venue.(it would be here in michigan though)

Ill play, i have a huge ds-10/m01 set, if thats not cool and you want something a little more chip thats cool too.  Im down to go, the drive from detroit isnt that bad.  PM me for demos.

With the DS10 I can trigger patterns live, and even play solos on the virtual keyboard or kaoss pad.

Ive also had no trouble syncing a ds10 and m01 if you can press play at the same time then your music is forever in sync.  Im really looking forward to having recording time after the semester.

Mixers are cheap though, and you'd probably want one if ever playing live?

I agree with this sentiment, using just the computer might be a good temporary solution to eq'ing your tracks but if you want to play live that means you have to bring your computer, or if you want to use something other then one gameboy your stuck switching your only input around.  Personally i run all sorts of nonsense into my mixer, without at least 5 inputs id be a saaaaaad panda.

Correction, this is the site with all the elitists.

Edit:  Also i check to see when live gigs are all the time, i cant help it where they are located.  That would be why no one posts in them.

Dude DanimalCannon IS the elite.

I believe it, not many can pull off the rock band and solo artist work load.

i actually looked extensively into one of these or a kp3, granted i decided on neither until a later date and time.  I had ultimately decided that the kp3 would be more useful hooked up to my aux send bus, would be a great live multi fx unit.  The k pro ended up being more what i wanted from the kp3, ive played with both of them, and although stand alone the k pro is a fun solo machine, it doesnt have the team player spirit the kp3 does.

Also I'm pretty sure this site is your best bet for finding shows in NYC, 8bc is mostly silly discussion, I don't know if people announce shows over there any more...

I dunno about a monotribe but i would get a monotron just for my mixer aux bus.  That filter would be nice to have lying around.  Speaking of filters shit that looks awesome low-gain.
